Yusuke Murakami is a visual artist and creative director of 3AND, a creative collective based in London and Tokyo. His immersive digital installations invite audiences to reconsider their perceptions of reality, often exploring the boundaries between the physical and digital, and speculating on new definitions of life in the data age.
Born in Tokyo, Murakami earned his degree in Film and TV from New York University and completed his MA in Visual Communications at the Royal College of Art in London. Prior to founding 3AND, he spent eight years at Hingston Studio where he worked as a senior motion designer and motion director on a diverse range of projects for international artists, musicians, and brands.
In 2020, he co-founded 3AND, through which he continues to lead innovative design work worldwide while pursuing his personal artistic practice.
Recent highlights include an audiovisual performance with ∈Y∋ (BOREDOMS) at ICA London for Parallel Visions #10 by NTS Radio; a moving installation for Wakayama Prefecture at Expo 2025; and art direction for “Soul/Soil” by Ricoh at Milan Design Week 2025. Murakami was also selected for Japanese Motion Graphic Creators 100: 2025.
